Despair Inspired - Contents

this is a rather cluttered contents section, dividing poetry and prose with the former split into several confusing categories

Red“The world is so much smaller, yet so much bigger than you realise...”   
 
It begins in the dark...   
There in the nothing  Some horror did stir  No fish or animal  Insect or bird  Falling around, it was disturbed...   
A drop of water, red as night  Fell from the sky  Trickled into it's eye  It glowed with a passion  It raged with a smile  It broke through thin paper  It started to cry  Crimson tears...   
As tears fell, life began  There a woman,  There a man.  Beginnings of a world  Encapsulated in a tear. &nb Red

Spirit And ConsequenceCheap kisses under coloured lights,  Easy action with the pumping sound.  I glance and steal the smile  From each and every face.   
Lips brush my cheek  As false promises are made  With the God of Consequence overshadowing us both.   
I falter and wonder...  Would I be sensible  Would I keep my distance  If I was more full of spirit?   
Or would it make me  Move closer, brushing nearer  Beautiful moments made as  Consequence bears down and  Smashes me to pieces  Leaving the promise bearer unscathed. Spirit And Consequence

SmashAnger was there with me  In that moment.  I was angry at myself.  I Still Am.  I wanted to tear down the walls  Jump through the window  Smash my way through  Until I found who  Caused that harm to you.   
I still want to smash and hurt  To gain some spine back.  I want to “destroy something beautiful”  No.  Destroy something grotesque  And smash the ugliness brutally further.   
Freedom.  Freedom from this cage of rules  I want to smash the boundaries  Irregardless of the consequences...  But all I can do  Is break literary Smash

Still Haven't Done Much

Yeah.

So I guess two deviations is better than none, =P

Haven't been up to much lately, visted my cousins, visited my hometown (best weekend ever :D), and have thought more about getting a job.


I've been making a bit of progress with a playscript I'm trying to concentrate on, I appear to have about eight minutes of dialogue so ten more of those and I'll have a substantial script... ish. And I have another idea in the works, but need to fully work out where it will go and what the tone should be. I know this is all quite "mysterious" lol I just don't want to give details, specifically cos this second idea I'm pretty sure hasn't been done. Although the more I think about it I do think similar ideas have been done, but not this exact one, =p.

But hey, I've enjoyed reading the stuff on here lately, sorry if I haven't been commenting much, it's usually due to lack of anything helpful to say, lol.

Been spending too much money as usual too, I dread to think how much I spent on my weekend home. But it's all good, things work out etc. :)

It's alright. I haven't really been around much either. I've found myself on a roll lately, I feel that I've just written some of my best work. And I'm doing just fine, hope you are too. it was great to hear from you again. ^^
